Seit einer Woche läuft U2s neue Single 'Get On Your Boots' im Radio. Wie wir heute auf der Homepage der irischen Hot Press lesen, konnte sich 'Get On Your Boots' in den 'Radio-Charts' Irlands sofort auf Platz 1 festsetzen, in Großbritannien auf Platz 6. Letzte Woche hatte billboard.com gewaltige Zahlen genannt, wie häufig 'Get On Your Boots' in den ersten Tagen weltweit im Radio lief und wie viele Zuschauer erreicht wurden. Bezogen auf den Inhalt des 'Get On Your Boots-Videos' (Regie Alex Courtes) wird The Edge mit folgenden Worten zitiert: "It's based around the idea that men have fucked things up so badly, politically, economically and socially that it's really time we handed things over to women. We had our doubts when we saw a rough cut – but the finished video is brilliant. He's really nailed it."
