Da die Demo-Aufnahmen des neuen Albums gestohlen wurden (News) hat Bono nun eine radikale Methode vorgeschlagen: Wie arts.telegraph.co.uk (und nun auch Wired) heute berichtet, möchte Bono das komplette Album als legalen Download bei iTunes anbieten, falls die Demo-Aufnahmen irgendwo im Internet als Download auftauchen! Das reguläre Album soll dann auch so schnell wie möglich in den Läden stehen und zwar Endes des Monats! Bono äusserte sich wie folgt:"If it is on the internet this week, we will release it immediately as a legal download on iTunes, and get hard copies into the shops by the end of the month. It would be a real pity. It would screw up years of work and months of planning, not to mention fucking up our holidays. But once it's out, it's out." Wie immer gilt, bestätigt ist noch nichts, aber es geht in die heiße Phase. Wir halten Euch auf dem Laufenden!
