Man kann U2s Auftritt bei den zwei großen Geburtstagskonzerten der 'Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame' im New Yorker Madison Square Garden 2009 gut und gerne als spektakulär bezeichnen. Insgesamt spielten U2 8 Songs und wurden dabei von Stars wie Bruce Springsteen, Patti Smith, Mick Jagger und den Black Eyed Peas auf der Bühne unterstützt.
