U2 Travelguide » Dublin » Dockers Pub (closed)

Info

U2’s old local pub. Today you will no longer find the band here, but crowds of U2 fans instead. There are many U2 memorabilia on the walls, and to take a photo here is more or less obligatory – as is a pint of Guinness, maybe together with the other U2 fans. The pub is not too inviting anymore, though, as in the evenings it is mainly frequented by port workers and sailors, and women probably should not go here on their own.

Due to building works in the docks the Dockers Pub has unfortunately been closed since September 2004. If and when it will be re-opened is currently not known.
