Unsere Spendenkampagne für Ärzte ohne Grenzen in Kooperation mit Herbert Grönemeyer und der Musik Bewegt Stiftung (siehe unsere News hier) geht in die nächste Runde - und zwar mit einem echten Knaller. Wir danken Amp Visual für die großzügige Unterstützung unserer Kampagne!

Wir freuen uns sehr und sind stolz, dass Amp Visual sich bereit erklärt hat, unsere Spendenaktion zu unterstützen. Shaugn McGrath persönlich hat extra für diesen Zweck Zeichnungen handgefertigt (Originalunikate!) und dazu haben wir noch signierte Exemplare des wunderbaren Buchs von Averill und McGrath "Stealing Hearts at a Travelling Show" erhalten. Lange schon vergriffen, zeigt dieses Buch alle Coverdesigns mit Kommentaren, zum Teil mit alternativen Vorschlägen und erzählt viele Geschichten rund um die visuelle Seite von U2. Ein echtes "Must Have" für Fans.





Achtet dabei darauf, dass die "Gesendet" Daten (Datum und Uhrzeit, zu der Euch betterplace die Mail geschickt hat) und die Spendensumme korrekt in der Mail eingetragen sind, damit wir das mit den eingegangenen Spenden abgleichen können.

Anhand der Gesendet-Daten prüfen wir, ob auch eine Spende mit dem entspr. Betrag auf dem Spendenkonto eingegangen ist. Schreibt in die Mail noch euren vollständigen Vor- und Nachnamen dazu. Die Postanschrift erfragen wir im Falle eines Gewinnes nach der Auslosung von euch.

Falls ihr bereits gespendet habt und Eure Gewinnchance doch noch erhöhen wollt könnt ihr natürlich nochmals spenden und damit weitere Lose kaufen. Die Mehrfachteilnahme ist also zulässig!

Letzter Termin um per Spende Lose zu kaufen ist Sonntag, 23. September 2018, 23:59 Uhr. Die Mail mit der Spendenbestätigung muss bis zum nächsten Tag (Montag, 24. September 2018) um 12:00 Uhr bei uns eingegangen sein!

Wie läuft die Verlosung ab?

Für alle eingegangen Spenden legen wir in einer Datei virtuelle Lose an und zwar je 3,-- Euro Spendenbetrag ein Los. Diese werden in der Reihenfolge des Eingangs der von Euch an uns weitergeleiteten Betterplace-Mail beginnend mit 001 nummeriert. Der Erste, der also 3,-- Euro spendet und die Mail an uns weitergeleitet hat erhält die Nr. 001, der Nächste die Nr. 002 usw.
Wenn ihr mehr als 3,-- Euro spendet wird natürlich auch eine entsprechende Anzahl an Losnummern auf euren Namen angelegt (je 3,-- Euro 1 Losnummer). Innerhalb von 12 Stunden, nachdem ihr eure Spendenmail an uns weitergeleitet habt, solltet ihr von uns eine Antwortmail mit euren Losnummern erhalten.

Nach dem 23. September 2018 wird unser Zufallsgenerator eine Zahl entsprechend der vergebenen Losnummern ermitteln. Diese Losnummer gewinnt das VIP-Gift und der der Losnummer zugeordnete Spender wird von uns per Mail benachrichtigt. Zusätzlich werden wir den Gewinner auch auf U2tour.de veröffentlichen. Sobald der Gewinner uns seine Postanschrift mitgeteilt hat wird der Gewinn versandt.

Übrigens:
Eure Spende ist zu 100% steuerlich absetzbar! Etwa im Februar/März nächsten Jahres erhaltet Ihr von betterplace per Mail eine Spendenbescheinigung, die Ihr auf Eurer Steuererklärung entsprechend eintragen könnt.

Our donation campaign for Doctors without Borders in cooperation with Herbert Grönemeyer and the Musik Bewegt Foundation enters the next round - and does so with a bang! Our cordial thank you to Amp Visual for their generous support!

You might possibly not be familiar with the name Amp Visual, but every U2 fans most likely knows their founders: Steve Averill and Shaughn McGrath have been closely collaborating with U2 since their beginnings and are responsible for creating all album and singles covers (apart from Rattle and Hum) as well as DVD/Video packaging, tour merchandise, etc. within the past few decades until today. Currently, they are nominated for the German Design Award 2019 with their The Joshua Tree 30th Anniversary Vinyl Box Set.





After raising almost 14k EUR with our donation cooperation with Herbert Grönemeyer for Doctors without Borders in 2017, we certainly hope that we will be able to raise a nice sum this year as well.


Please make sure that the "Sent" information (date and time at which betterplace sent you the confirmation) and the amount of the donation is correctly included in the mail you forward us. We need that information to be able to check it against the donations received on our donation page.

With the help of the "sent data" we check whether a donation with the same amount was received. Please include your full name (first and last name) into the mail - we will ask you for your full postal address in case you are the lucky winner.
Once we have all information from you we will allocate you one lottery ticket per each EUR 3 donated and you will participate in the lottery.
In case you would like to improve your chances to win, you can always donate again as long as this event is on and buy additional lottery tickets. Participating multiple times is absolutely legitimate!

The event (and your opportunity to buy tickets for this event) ends on Sunday, 23 September 2018 at 11:59pm CEST (Central European Summer Time). The forwarded confirmation mail from betterplace needs to be in our inbox by the next day (Monday, 24 September 2018) by noon!

How is the lottery drawing executed?

We allocate virtual lottery tickets for all donations received, one ticket for every EUR 3 amount. These will be allocated in the order we receive your forwarded betterplace-confirmation, starting with 001. The first person donating EUR 3 and forwarding the confirmation mail to us will receive the number 001, the next one 002, etc.
In case you donate more than EUR 3 (i.e. multiples of 3), you will be allocated a corresponding number of lottery tickets in your name (i.e. one lottery ticket number per EUR 3 donated). Within 12 hours after your forwarded us your betterplace mail you should receive a reply-mail containing your lottery ticket number(s).

After the end of this lottery event, i.e. after 23 September 2018, our random number generator will determine the lucky lottery ticket number out of all numbers allocated. The owner of this winning lottery ticket will be the lucky winner of the VIP gift and will receive a notification from us. In addition, we will publish the winner's name on U2tour.de and other social media channels. As soon as we receive the winner's postal address, we will send out the prize.
