Das Label Lost Highway Records startet Ende August eine eigene US Radio-Show.

BONO TO HOST PREMIERE FEATURING LUCINDA WILLIAMS IN CONCERT Nashville, TN – Bono has been confirmed to host the debut of the new, nationally syndicated Lost Highway Radio Show, which is scheduled to air in late August. The Lost Highway Radio Show will feature one artist per each hour-long program, recorded live in concert. The kickoff program will feature a special 90-minute concert from Lucinda Williams, recorded at New York’s Bowery Ballroom on May 27, 2003. The performance features songs from Lucinda’s Grammy-winning albums Car Wheels On A Gravel Road and Essence, as well as songs from her heavily praised new release World Without Tears. The Lost Highway Radio Show will give fans a chance to hear highly-acclaimed artists in their best forum, the live performance. ''We are extremely passionate about the Lost Highway Radio Show, as it showcases the live talent of the incredible artists on Lost Highway.” says Luke Lewis Lost Highway President & Chairman of UMG Nashville. “This label was started with the idea of nurturing artists who loved to tour and play live, and we believe the radio show is the perfect vehicle.” A new artist and new host will be featured on each show, which will air quarterly to start. American/Lost Highway recording artist The Jayhawks have just completed a live recording in Chicago that will be featured on the second Lost Highway Radio Show (air date tba). Lost Highway burst onto the music scene with hit records from Ryan Adams, Lucinda Williams, Willie Nelson and the ground- breaking soundtrack to O'Brother, Where Art Thou? Most recently, Lost Highway chartered the comeback of the legendary Johnny Cash, with the highly anticipated American IV: The Man Comes Around. Within its first year of operation, Lost Highway shattered records by garnering 16 Grammy Award nominations that included 7 wins for the coveted Album of the Year and Best Soundtrack (O'Brother, Where Art Thou?), Best Female Rock Performance (Lucinda Williams) and Best Country Album (Hank Williams: Timeless), among others. © Lost Highway Records
