An Bono's 41. Geburtstag am 10. Mai 2001 spielten U2 eine Show in Indianapolis. Grund genug für die Band, in "Elevation" ein Snippet von "Birthday" (im Original von den Beatles) einzubauen. Während "Mysterious Ways" holte sich Bono dann ein halbes Dutzend Mädchen auf die Bühne, um mit ihnen zu tanzen, während er "It's My Birthday" sang.
