Skip-Kandidaten werden. 05 Iris (Hold Me Close) – Navid Bei einem Blick in die Vergangenheit darf Iris Hewson nicht fehlen. Iris (Hold me Close) ist bereits der vierte U2-Titel, welcher sich mit Bonos früh verstorbener Mutter beschäftigt, textlich ist es wohl auch der Persönlichste ( Iris says that I will be the death of her / It was not me ). Any journey into U2’s past cannot get past
Iris Hewson. Iris (Hold me Close) is the fourth U2 song dealing with the
early death of Bono’s mother, and lyrically probably the most personal "Iris says that I will be the death of her /
It was not me" ). The guitar is classic U2 sound, as is Adam’s bass. Put

. Rehearsals für die eXPERIENCE + iNNOCENCE Tour haben begonnen
und begann die Proben mit 4x Iris nacheinander. Nach einer längeren Pause wurden dann je zweimal The Ocean und Iris nacheinander gespielt, offensichtlich arbeitete die Band an einem fließenden Übergang zwischen beiden Songs. Nach vier weiteren Stücken beendete Iris auch den gestrigen Probelauf. Nachfolgend die gespielten Songs in der Zusammenfassung (Danke an Oli!)
