Im Diary auf der offiziellen Garbage Homepage meldet sich Frontfrau Shirley Manson über das neue U2 Album zu Wort: "Got the new U2 album this morning and I'm all over it like a hot rash already. I've been playing it non-stop. Every time Bono screams out "Can you hear me sing? You're the reason I sing. You're the reason why the opera's in me" I sing along at the top of my lungs and yearn to be able to be so brazenly heartfelt. It's a quality in U2 I find endlessly endearing. It's a lovely,old fashioned record with a great glut of good songs and heart piercing ideas,unabashedly sentimental and waiting to be loved." Bei der Elevation Tour spielte Garbage, während des Leg-3, insgesamt 11x als Support Act.
