U2 Veröffentlichung zum Record Store Day - Europa EP

Wie bereits in unserer News vom 04.01.2019 (Klick) berichtet, werden U2 auch in diesem Jahr wieder am Record Store Day am 13.04.2019 teilnehmen. Heute erfolgte dann endlich die Bestätigung. UPDATE 4. APRIL

Die EP wird insgesamt 3 Tracks beinhalten:

Side A: 
  • 1. Love Is All We Have Left (eXPERIENCE + iNNOCENCE Intro / Chaplin Speech) New Year's Day 'Live' (Dublin 5th November, 2018)
Side B:
  • 2. New Year's Day (St. Francis Hotel Remix)
  • 3. Love Is All We Have Left (Jon Pleased Wimmin Euromantic Mix)
Beim ersten Song handelt es sich um die bekannte Rede von Charlie Chaplin aus dem Film 'Der Große Diktator' (1940), unterlegt mit einer Mischung der Songs 'Love Is All We Have Left' und 'Zooropa'.

Auch das Cover der EP ist eine Homage an Chaplin, anlässlich seines 130. Geburtstag am 16. April 2019. 



Die Auflage soll angeblich 5.000 Exemplare betragen.
