Vor an die 10.000 Leuten spielten U2 in der 'Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre' ihren ersten der zwei Gigs in Glasgow. Bono gab auch nochmals einen Kommentar ab wieso diese zwei Shows erst relativ spät (letzte Woche) bestätigt wurden und meinte "They said they could not fit the Elevation tour in here, I would say it fits pretty good [...] Sorry this was last minute, I hope you didn't have anything to watch on TV, but I hear you get pretty good VCR's these days". Bereits heute Abend findet das 2te Konzert in Glasgow statt. Vorgruppe wird wieder die Band "Cosmic Rough Riders" aus Glasgow sein.
