Auf der U2.com Seite wurde der 3te Leg der Elevation Tour offiziell bestätigt. Dem Bericht nach führt die Jungs der 3te Leg (nach einer kurzen Pause) zurück in die Staaten wo sie einige Shows spielen werden. Es soll sich dabei um die letzten Shows der Elevation Tour handeln, wonach also die Elevation Tour in den Staaten enden wird. Zitat Paul McGuinness: "I have no doubts that this is the most succesful tour we have ever done. It’s not just the fact that the tickets were all sold out before the tour started, the band are really enjoying the shows and the audience reaction is absolutely extraordinary" Weiters soll zu Weihnachten eine Elevation Tour DVD folgen und weiters im Herbst eine Live Dokumentation der Elevation Tour.
