Die Liste bezieht sich auf Berechnungen des eingeschätzten Einkommens der Künstler im Zeitraum vom 4. Januar 2009 bis 3. Januar 2010. Mit mehr als 108 Millionen Dollar durch CD-Verkäufe, Downloads, Tickets etc. führen U2 die Liste an. Einkünfte durch Merchandise oder Sponsoring wurden übrigens NICHT miteinbezogen!

Last February, U2 summoned Steve Lillywhite, who worked on ``The Joshua Tree,'' ``Achtung Baby'' and ``All That You Can't Leave Behind,'' to oversee the new record along with legendary production wizard Flood. And apparently, that gave the band the Elevation they needed to finish the disc.
