  Das 'Release Slane Castle on CD/DVD' Online-Petitions-Portal

Wohl nicht nur die Leute von U2tour.de hatten die Idee, U2 und das Management zu bitten, das atembemberaubende Konzert von Slane Castle zu veröffentlichen.
So haben auch U2star.com und U2place.com ihre Online-Petition gestartet (auch unsere Freunde von U2achtung sind nun an Bord), und wir bieten nun ein Portal für
die verschiedenen internationalen Petitionen an. So hoffen wir im Sinne aller U2-Fans weltweit viele Stimmen und Unterschriften für eine Release von Slane zu sammeln!
Die Übergabe: Und am 26. Februar 2003 war es dann soweit: Daniel und Didi von U2tour.de haben die Universal Zentrale in Wien besucht, um die Petition an Universal Österreich (Plattenfirma von U2) zu übergeben. Man hat sich sehr über das Engagement der U2-Fans gefreut und war erstaunt über die Anzahl der Unterschriften. Dieser Ausdruck der Petition wird nun weitergeleitet an Island UK, das europäische Headquarter, eine weitere Kopie geht direkt an das Management von U2 in Dublin. Zusätzlich werden die Teams von u2place.com und u2achtung.com die Petiton ebenfalls den lokalen Universal Niederlassungen in Frankreich und Italien persönlich übergeben. Die fertige Petition mit allen Unterschriften, die auf u2tour.de, u2achtung.com und u2place.com gesammelt wurden, umfasst 211 Seiten und kann hier im AdobeAcrobat-pdf-Format heruntergeladen werden (ca. 1.1MB). Bilder von der gedruckten Version und der Übergabe in Wien gibt es etwas weiter unten. Wir möchten allen Fans danken, die mit ihrer Unterschrift dazu beigetragen haben, dass diese Petition so umfangreich wurde! Über den weiteren Verlauf halten wir euch natürlich auf dem Laufenden! |
 The 'Release Slane Castle on CD/DVD' Online Petition Portal

Not only the makers of U2tour.de had the idea to ask U2 and the management to release the breathtaking concert of Slane Castle.
Also U2star.com and U2place.com started an online-petition (and now U2achtung is also aboard), we wanted to make a portal for all the international sites. We hope to collect a lot
of votes and subscribers for a release of Slane.
The Handover: On February 26th 2003 Daniel and Didi from U2tour.de visited the Universal headquarter of Austria in Vienna to hand over the online petition. Universal was very delighted about the engagement of the fans and was surprised by the amount of signatures. The printed version of the petition will be sent to Island UK, the european headquarter, a further copy is on the way to the U2 management in Dublin. Additionally the team of u2place.com and u2achtung.com will visit their local Universal offices in France and Italy to hand over the petition personally. The final petition with all signatures, which have been collected at u2tour.de, u2achtung.com and u2place.com, has 211 pages and can be downloaded as an AdobeAcrobat-pdf-file by clicking here (appr. 1.1MB).
