Wer kennt ihn nicht? Ben Stiller, amerikanischer Schauspieler und Comedian, hatte 1992 mit The Ben Stiller Show seinen Durchbruch. In der Satire-Show, die auf MTV ausgestrahlt wurde und mit einem 'Emmy' ausgezeichnet wurde, parodierte Ben Stiller gleich in der ersten Episode Bono und U2. Dieser Sketch mit dem Titel U2 - The Early Years, der am 27.09.1992 im amerikanischen MTV Premiere hatte, ist mit zwölf anderen Episoden auf der 2 Box-Set DVD 'The Ben Stiller Show' zu finden.
